if the nba folded, where would the elite most likely go?

kinda curious as to how you feel the so-called superstars would be received in other regions in a league where they would demand the salaries that they get now, and with the situations that some of them get into.

I'm guessing most of them would either go to Europe or accept smaller deals in other US professional leagues. With so much talent, those minor leagues would eventually become much larger, so in time there would be huge salaries again.

Dirk would go back to Germany, Nash would go back to Canada, Shaq and Kobe would go back to...................... hell, and everyone else would play in Euro Leagues

It wl be same as what happend to ABA and NBA! One of the leagues who will get good scouting will get much more exposure. Players like Kobe Shaq easily. then u go to the new NBA somewhere els.
Why do you think MJ is so much more popular then DR.J Coz he helped globolize the NBA. He represented basketball from the USA

I wouldn't be surprised if Kobe went and played in Italy. A history teacher at my school, and the Varsity basketball coach, got drafted by Washington in the 60s or 70s and never really made it with them. So he went to Italy and he said the lifestyle is so much better.

Vince would go into slamball but do better dunks then them and jump higher than them without even using the trampoline.

Some of his dunks in his first few seasons would match some of the O.K dunks in slam ball. (minus the backflips and stuff some players can do).

Some players might cometogether to form a new NBA type of league. Some may go to play other professional sports ( Like AI in football!) and others may turn gym teachers! Showing th elittle 10 year olds how to play ball and giving them the opportunity to say "Dad, Karl Malone is my gym teacher!" would be nice.
then again teachers don't get paid much..
