Wow, this kid is finally showing signs of developing.
A few months ago when Kwame Brown finally scored over 20points he had ask to be taken out of the game, but tonight, socring 30points, grabbing 19 boards he didn't ask to be taken out, in fact he stayed all
48minutes in a upsetting wizards victory over the Kings! Hopefully he will continue to get better and bring some hope to the wizards organization so they can make a playoff push when they get in their new divison with the bobcats, magic and hawks. ( Of course if the Bobcats get Kobe they kinda screwed lol)

Yep, outstanding game for Brown... If the Wizards didn't suffer all those injuries, I'd risk saying they'd be at least 7th in the East...
Thu Mar 18, 2004 3:24 pm
Kwame, that freakin beast. That's a huge game... this boy needs a nickname... how about "Flamming Faggot"?

It's all about motivation. Potential cannot be realised without effort, and an unmotivated player won't show much effort out on the court. The next step is being motivated at the beginning of the year, and maintaining the same focus throughout the season. The same goes for another player from the 2001 Draft.

Yes, 2 of my fav guys Arenas and Kwame, also the only reasons I watch the Wizards.
As you all know (or should know), Arenas has been tearing it up and has pulled his averages up to 20, 5 and 5, but has also been turning over the ball like a mad man, 9 against the Knicks.
Arenas
Hughes
Hayes
Kwame
Haywood
Dixon
and Blake are the Wizards future with Kwame and Arenas topping the list, and without injuries they would have been a scary team, even top 5 in the East.
Next year they need to get rid of Stack and Lattenner, and Ethan will not likely return, and they need to draft a SF or a Center because Hayes might not be able to hold up at SF, and Haywood might be better coming off the bench.

Post all star game Kwame has been playing well. It's too soon to say that he'll finally break out next year, cos that's what we say every year
Thu Mar 18, 2004 11:02 pm
Show some consistency kwame!!
Fri Mar 19, 2004 12:23 am
Go Kwame its ya birthday!!
I really hope he becomes something in the NBA, my main reason i have interest in Wizards, him and Jared Jeffries and a bit of Gilly to.
Kwame im hoping he has a 18-22ppg 8-12rpg 1-3bpg year next year, Come On!!

i havent heard 48 mins in regulation in a very long time. especially for a power forward. the kid has some stamina.

Imagine if they all played 30 minutes. As a team, they would average 30 turnovers per game. Now add Stackhouse...

With the signing of Baxter, the Wiz now have three guys from the Maryland team that won the National Championship two years ago. The three have great chemistry, and could fill in some missing roles that the Wizards need.
Fri Mar 19, 2004 8:43 am
Arenas is awesome. He reminds me of Michael Jordan from last year.. always gives an incredible performance but fails to come out on top. Just imagine if the Wizards get Okafor next year in the draft.
Fri Mar 19, 2004 10:06 am
Ya know, there are really good players in the draft, besides Okafor.

I thought this draft was goin' to be quite weak in talent?
Fri Mar 19, 2004 4:43 pm
Yea it is, its basically Dwight Howard, Okafor, a lot of point guards, and a lot of really tall centers

I think 30 is giving them too much credit, more like 40-45 maybe. They could set and NBA record.
Sat Mar 20, 2004 1:55 pm

Kwame does it again...this time dropping 27 and grabbing 11 boards vs. the hawks
I guess he is having a break out month preparing for next year's break out season.
Sat Mar 20, 2004 2:32 pm
Haha Kwame I love you buddy
ARENAS

triple double baby, he's the next triple double machine, just with a lot of turnovers.
Sat Mar 20, 2004 2:52 pm
Maybe he'll get a quadruple double someday before his career ends. 20 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, and 10 turnovers
Sun Mar 21, 2004 1:36 am
you sure he hasn't done it yet, I mean he gets a LOT of turnovers every game, I watched him a lot too, they're such stupid turnovers, like him trying to pass through the middle of 2 players and basically just passing it right to one of thems hands.
He tries to force a lot of passes.
Wed Mar 24, 2004 4:27 am
if The Wiz cant draft okafor, who do you think they should draft?
Wed Mar 24, 2004 5:28 am
A small forward, or another center.
Josh Smith, or the Lithuanian 7'3 Center.
Wed Mar 24, 2004 6:14 pm
Brown went scoreless tonight in a miserable Wizards game
Wed Mar 24, 2004 8:22 pm
Arenas was injured...noi one-two punch last game, fellas
