All Old School First and Second Team

Right down your All Old School First and Second team, and here are mine:

Fisrt Team

PG - Oscar Robertson
SG - Micheal Jordan
SF - Larry Bird
PF - Magic Johnson (couldn't leave him out and BigO can't play the 4)
C - Kareem Abdul Jabbar/Wilt

Second Team

PG - Isiah Thomas/Jerry West
SG - George Gervin (moved him to the 2)
SF - Elgin Baylor
PF - Charles Barkley
C - Hakeem Olajuwon

Sun Mar 07, 2004 4:36 pm

Magic at point
Mike (captain and starting 2)
Larry Bird at SF
Karl Malone at pf
Hakeem at centre

Sun Mar 07, 2004 5:23 pm

1st team
PG-Magic
SG-Oscar Robertson
SF-Mike
PF-Bird
C-Wilt/Jabbar

2nd team
PG-Isiah Thomas/Stockton/Walt Frazier
SG-Pistol Pete Maravich
SF-Julius Erving
PF-Karl Malone
C-Bill Russell

I agree with Matthew's list. I might consider Kareem at centre though. If you're going to go position by position and not put players into a position they didn't naturally/usually play, than that in my opinion is the list.

For the Second team I might have Johnny Stock, Big O, Scottie Pippen, Bill Russell (though he was a 'centre'), and Kareem if he's not in the first team.

Sun Mar 07, 2004 7:55 pm

Starters
C - Wilt Chamberlain
PF - Bill Russel
SF - Larry Bird
SG - Michael Jordan
PG - Earvin 'Magic' Johsoon

Bench
C - Kareem Abdul Jabbar
PF - Karl Malone
SF - Oscar Robertson
SG - Jerry West
PG - Isiah Thomas

I'm not so sure about the positions. I know Bill is a center but his only 6'10 and 220lbs, so I guess he can as well play PowerForward.
The Big O should be able to play SF, I mean come on he is mister tribble double.

Shaq wears 34 now, are you reffering to Shaq back in the Orlando Days?

He wasn't that bad in 2000...

Judging from the rest of his picks, he's making a pathetic attempt to show us his knowledge of NBA history. Either that or it's Horace Grant posting since Grant was picked over Wilt and Hakeem. Gotta love kids!

Mon Mar 08, 2004 7:37 pm

What's choking me most is that he has listed the biggest dissapointment through all time there - Harold Miner. ARE YOU ON DOPE KID!!!!!

Can't blam you on the other hand. You're just 13-14 years old.
My list at the age would probably be even worse, lol

I like Slam Harder's team with a few changes on the second squad. Take out Malone, put Elgin Baylor at PF, Dr.J at SF & move the Big O to the point.
