Big disappointments: Sure, the Bulls are wincing over that signing of Scottie Pippen. But it hasn't gone very smoothly with several other big off-season acquisitions. The Celtics have had to shut down Raef LaFrentz, acquired for Antoine Walker, for the season with knee surgery. He's owed $55 million through 2008-09. Walker returns to Boston with the Mavericks on Wednesday but took his first shot last week, blasting general manager Danny Ainge in the Boston Globe: "He might have set them back three or four years. It all depends on how long Paul [Pierce] is going to be willing to live with fighting around .500. Look at [Orlando's unhappy] Tracy McGrady. At the rate he's going, [Ainge] is not going to be in this position for a long time. When you're not trading value for value, it's personal. It wasn't like I'm going to jail. It's not like I'm in rehab. Other stars in this league watch what goes on. If you look at the trade, I think he really felt like I wouldn't mesh with these guys in Dallas. I think he was really trying to set my career back."

I mean if T-Mac is allowed to call 5% of the league gay, then Toine can have his say on what he thinks of the league.

Although after reading comments posted recently pertaining to the Boston Celtics, Danny Ainge and the whole deal, I think Walker is an uninformed fuckface, who thinks he deserves a contract extention like those recently signed by Allen Iverson, Jason Kidd or perhaps Kevin Garnett.
Ainge's Favorite Mistake
This is not what I expected from the Antoine Walker deal, now maybe Ainge can do something to make up for this fuck-up.
He better do something right now, for right now, but honestly the whole thing with Walker was that he wanted $107 million or else, he didn't see that his role with the team needed to change, he didn't get along with Jim O'Brien or Danny Ainge, so he was traded with Delk for LaFrentz and Welsch, I do not miss Tony Delk, he is not a point guard, please believe that, he can't get others going. But they should have asked Chicago about Jalen Rose and Donyell Marshall or Portland about Rasheed Wallace and Bonzi Wells, but they probably did, I don't know, but when Antoine Walker says this will set the Celtics back for a few years, I am now a believer.
In the end Walker wasn't going to work for Boston, but they got pimped by Dallas.

vin baker is soft.. fortson grabbed soo many offensive rebounds.. and so did the dallas in general.. they didnt' defend well
a lineup with, james, welsh, pierce, baker and mccarty is horrible..
baker don't rebound well.. mccarty is a sf/pf guy.. more of a softer rebounder.. welsh dont' got hops isn't that tough.. only pierce can rebound there..
man.. they played soo bad
their defence was horrible.. they lost shot blocking presences in battie who probally would have played 30 mins a night without lafrentz..
williams would get a lot of boards while hes in the game.. and wouldn't let his defender beat him.. 2 of their best team/individual defenders gone..
i hope they can get mihm more mins.. he needs to come out and get like 6-7 boards a game with 25+ mins and 5-6 points .. they seem soo soft right now compare to the old celtics with james, piece, williams, lafrentz, battie..
welsh is playing great tho .. i hope they play better next game.. cuz if they played against like new orleans or something .. they'll get killed

Walker took a jab at more than 5% of the league though![]()
Plus I don't like him so I thought I'd go off on him for a little bit
