I'm very surprised of this year's rookies and their debut.
1. KAT - wow
2. Dangelo - lol
3. Okafor - as expected, can put up pts. In his first game, he was quite good alongside Noel. He's to have a big season.
4. Porziņģis - better than what I expected in his first couple games.
5. Hezonja - thought he'd be buried deep in the rotation but he's to see some type of 6th man role already and was surprisingly good in his first game. Potential to finish top 5 in ROTY race.
6. Cauley-Stein - meh, typical rookie struggle he's to go through this year.
7. Mudiay - Confirmed what we know about this kid in his debut game. He can pass and score but efficiency is gonna be troubling. But still was a very nice performance he put up in his first game. He's got the starting PG position locked up for the future in Denver.
8. Stanley Johnson - Pretty solid.
9. Kaminsky - meh
10. Winslow - so much hype, so little he done so far
11. Turner - wow, potential all star/steal of this draft imo
I think this draft has potential to be one of the best in recent years. Last year was hyped with Embiid, and Wiggins but this year draft could be the deeper and stronger one. Thoughts?

My misstake. I meant to say lookED. He was really really bad. I really love his play and I hope this was just one terrible night.

No need to apologize. It's just a first impression and there have been people saying similar things as he's mightily struggled throughout the entire summer. Concerns are there and one thing's clear he doesn't know how to play off the ball at the moment. Kobe and Clarkson are going to cockblock him this year so I don't expect much from him for now.
Interesting times in LA though. Randle played pretty good and Clarkson still was able to provide alongside Kobe.

If season ended today, Okafor would be my 2nd pick for MVP.

Early days, but you have to be optimistic about KAT and Okafor living up to the hype. Russell certainly does seem to have a long, tough road ahead of him.

Zeller went for a ride on the Okafor train

Okafor was a safe pick, and everyone knew he would start contributing since day 1. I mean, he's averaging 18 points already. Towns has also surpassed his expectations, we knew he could be good but he needed time as most rookies.
But I'm rooting for my man M.Turner, wish he could sleeped a little bit and Thunder drafted him but meeeeh. Nice range and tremendous blocking ability.
I hope Russell lives to the challenge, Lakers right now don't need that kind of "bust".

To be fair he looked the same in summer league and preseason too but I never bash rookies... year two and the gloves are off lol

Kat took the honors last nite!

Russell wouldn't be getting any better in LA if Kobe keeps shooting 10+ 3-pointers per game.

Towns looks great. Only 19 and looks so calm and composed. A lot of confidence in his decision making already.
