Assuming everyone is healthy, I'm guessing:
Dwight/Cousins
Davis/Durant/Blake
Lebron/Melo/George
Klay/Harden
Curry/Paul

I really wanna see Jimmy Buckets on the team, but don't think he'll top these established stars. Westbrook could make it over a big man. Love might get picked for spacing.

When you go back to the 92 with Team USA beating on everyone the rest of the world took notice and got a lot better which caught the US off guard in the mid 00's.

They may still be very hard to beat but the USA doesn't take any team for granted anymore

To that end, the USA beat Spain 107-100 in the gold medal game at the 2012 Olympics, a game that Spain looked as though they might win until the USA pulled away for good. From 2002-2006, the USA came up short in international competition as well, so the past decade or so hasn't been as dominant or uncompetitive as the eras that preceded it.

And even if we want to assume that the USA winning it all is a given, there's still a silver and bronze medal to vie for. For all the jokes one might make about coming second or third, it's not like there isn't prestige in doing so. It would still be a big deal, especially for countries who haven't yet won a medal...the Australian men's team comes to mind there.
