There is this thing called AVI Edit it lets your Format AVI's into GIFS and yes i am a good AVI To GIF Guy

what should i do to make gif's work again?

I get the same problem as Dahl with most of these gifs.

I reckon the best gif i ever saw is the one in limpdilznick's signiture, Jamal Crawford does this awesome move. It's simply amazing.
