Robert Horry signs with the Spurs

I'm not sure if this has been brought up yet but we all knew it was coming. Robert Horry is now a member of the Spurs. If Kevin Willis is going to be benched, Tim Duncan will probably play Center and Robert Horry taking PF.

Horry's signing was actually brought up in another post. There's no way he'll start (Nesterovic will play center, Duncan will continue his tenure at the four), but he should provide some quality minutes and veteran leadership off the bench.

yes this has been brought up and i think Nestervoic will start at C and Duncan will stay at PF

starting five will probably look like this

C-Nesterovic
PF-Duncan
SF-Bowen/Ginobili/Mercer/Stephen Jackson if he resigns
SG-Ginobili/Bowen/Mercer/Stephen Jackson if he resigns
PG-Parker

The Spurs have done a pretty good job of rebuilding quickly in the face of the Admiral's retirement and free agent departures. Their projected lineup is not unlike last season's squad - similar players assuming the roles of departed players, and some of the same players back in the same roles. If they can get it to work as they did last year, they can still be a formidable force, even in the West.

Still, one has to wonder whether they would be in better shape had they landed one or two of the top free agents.

it's gonna sting to see horry play for the Spurs next year, after all that time he played for the lakers.

This seems to be the most accurate pick

About Horry, i think he'l be a great player, coming out of the bench off corse, maybe he wont play 30 minutes per game but i am 100% sure he'l be there to make the important shot whenever the Spurs need it.
