Raptors to replace Hunter with Peeler

The signing isn't official yet, but looks like it's likely to go down. I think it's a good move, we didn't really have a pure backup SG.

PG: Alvin Williams / Milt Palacio
SG: Vince Carter / Anthony Peeler
SF: Lamond Murray / Morris Peterson / Chris Jefferies
PF: Jerome Willliams / Chris Bosh / Jerome Moiso / Matt Bonner
C: Antonio Davis / Michael Bradley / Mengke Bateer

Michael Bradley could also start with JYD off te bench at SF and PF. The team is looking more and more solid to me.

Good move. Peeler should be fine as a backup, a much better choice than Hunter.

Retire? He's only 33, and still capable of being a solid contributor.

Aside from Peeler, I'd like to see the Raptors pursue Raja Bell. They can use a lockup defender, and playing him and Alvin at the same time would be hell for opposing guards

then y did Dallas get rid of Bell?Dallas can use all their firepower at offense if they want..but if they wanna truly be serious contenders for a championship they gotta bring more D...and did they rili let Raja Bell go?

I think the raptors are gonna have to sign another guard for sure, 4 just isnt enough, but since when did rafer average 18, 8 and 7?

my ass, 50-22, first that is only 72 games  and if i remember correctly there is 82 games in a season
and second with 50 wins they would be at the top of the eastern conference as detroit had a 50-32 record, and i highly doubt toronto can do that, i predict them at maybe 44-38

its too early to tell..the training camp isn't even started yet and there's alot of things that can stop them from going to the playoffs...mainly too much injuries..so if they win like 46-36 it'll be great improvement..and yes howcome i haven't heard an offical annoucement about the signing of Anothny Peeler..

Because he hasn't officially signed yet.

I'm not going to make an exact prediction of the Raptors' record, except to say it will almost certainly be good enough to earn a playoff appearance.
