no way, WHY DON'T YOU HAVE GARY PAYTON ON THERE? he is by far the best defencive point guard in the league, the best scoring point guard and very good passer!

well id have to say that jason kidd is the front runner. he is a "true" pg that can do it all ( wouldnt say he was the best of all time), imo second best pg in the nba right now is Steve Nash, but thats just my opinion.

I voted for Derek Fisher... He's quite good in the game... Always torches me for 30 points... Perfect 3 pt shooter...

Well Jason Duncan, there are only 3 threads you gotta do... "best SF in the NBA"... "best SG in the NBA"... and "best C in the NBA"... (N)

It depends on what team you have. It's either Gary Payton or Jason Kidd. Jason Kidd makes good teammates better while Payton is the type of point guard whose going to be the number one scorer. I'd like to see them switch roles for once and see what Payton would do on the Nets and what Kidd would do on the Bucks/Sonics(even though Payton's going to the Lakers next year).

Yeah, alright, but we could have sub-awards, like "best defensive SF", "best offensive rookie PG"...

i can't believe you forgot to include steve nash, eric snow, and gary payton in the polls. eric snow is a very good passing and defensive PG. gary payton is a good scoring, passing, and defensive PG, and steve nash is a very good shooting PG who can also pass.

Yeah, I'm voting for Derek Fisher, he's the best (Y)

If we are going to have in mind history, then Payton might be a good one but knowing this is not history but at the moment, I know Fisher & Eisley are far better than the others.

 Tales! Man, this kidd is just showing again he wants everyone to say he is right and j-kidd is the best pg  , this is gettin' really lame, the fact that GP and Nash arent on the list says a lot in my eyes, im surprised he didnt put King James at the list, he is such a fan isnt he :P ?

It had to be Jason Kidd who made this topic. Of all the Point Gaurd in the NBA, You put Tony Parker and Derek Fisher of all people in the poll? Num-scull!

But anyways, I would say J. Kidd!

But these are my top 3:
1. Jason Kidd
2. Gary Payton
3. Steve Nash

Well than what's the point of making a poll? It's very illogical to put "Jason Kidd", two other guys that we all know there's players better than and "somebody else", just because you think Jason Kidd is the best. There are many other point guards up there with Jason Kidd. He's not in a league of his own or anything. And is he the best ever? Sure as hell NO. I'd say that Stockton, Magic, Thomas, Robertson, Payton and others in their prime were better than Kidd is now. So, next time, why don't you put some serious options in your polls. You should've put Kevin Garnett in you "BEST POWER FORWARD" poll even though you think Duncan's the best, and you should've put some real legitimate all-star point guards in this poll, even though you only think that Kidd is the best, EVER.

He meant the best PG ever in the Nets team, he didn't mean in the world if he knows well Kidd can't score a jump shoot. The guy shoots 20 and hit 4.

The best PG in the league is Fisher, no doubt about it. Kidd couldn't do much against Fisher and his Lakers when they faced in the Finals. Fisher was too much for him,
