Who do you guys think the 2nd best player in NBA history is? I think Magic Johnson is the next best. He did everything, pass, score, rebound and steal. If he didn't get HIV, it woulda been a hell of a match-up for Michael Jordan in the play-offs against the Lakers.

When there's no way of determining the number one player in the history of the NBA, we can't really determine the number two player either.

John Havlicek would have to be up there... :P

I would say (just my opinion) that Michael Jordan is the second best. The best is... Michael Jordan.

I'd have to say it's Magic, too. I remember he was thought of as the best player ever in the eighties before MJ started winning. I don't know any player who can play every position like he did. Probably the greatest playmaker of all time.
