So I'm going to be out of town tomorrow.... is there anyway someone could record the Suns/Lakers game tomorrow and post it online somewhere? I don't know if it can be done (since a 2 hr video will be ridiculously huge) but if it's possible, I'd appreciate it.

We don't have a rule against it on the forum so it isn't illegal.

I would, but I dont have the connection to upload it to rapidshare, nor do I have a DVD drive. I suppose one could create a torrent of it and get it that way.

You should get DVR, it makes this much easier.

"Any rebroadcast of this game without the written consent of the NBA...... yada yada yada."

Besides, just because it happens at youtube doesn't mean it is legal. Google just bought themselves thousands of impending copyright suits.

That being said, I'm all for it.

I was talking about the real world, but I suppose I'm not in any position to argue.

From time to time NBA games will show up on torrent sites. But what you really need to do is invest in some sweet tivo action. I've got the Canadian version of the product and sweet Jesus is it amazing.

The DVR is the best invention of the 21st century. Fuck iPods. The lady or gentleman who came up with the idea deserves a Nobel Prize.

Anywho, I know this doesn't solve your problem, but I just want to say I AM PUMPED for the start of the season! Suns have a BRUUUUUTAL schedule the first two weeks...hell, maybe the toughest stretch they'll have all year. THREE consecutive back-to-backs against tough teams. I cannot wait!!

As long as he's not charging to watch the video, I don't think it's illegal.

Well there's the little disclaimer prohibiting the dissemination of the broadcast without the expressed written consent of the NBA, and that mumbo-jumbo.

ah never mind. I decided to drop everything so I can stay home and watch.

I was going to Historic Filipinotown (how ironic, with the status of Filipinos at this forum) to help set up a haunted house and a safe place for kids to trick-or-treat safely, because Historic P-town isn't exactly the safest place for kids.
I guess the NBA is more important

Qballer and j23, Kobe is still uncertain... Jax says it's going to be a gametime decision made by Kobe. He said the only person who really knows if he's ready is himself. So far, he said the knee is still sore...

that's just his excuse to sit out all the practices and preseason games, that lazy bum

edit: they just announced on TNT that Kobe's going to sit out. He must be really hurt if he voluntarily sits out regular season games.

In the media, they say it's nothing and Kobe says its nothing but from the Lakers trainer, he was quoted as saying that it's something bigger than Kobe's ever had and they don't want to let on what's really up with him... so I guess that Kobe and the Lakers are all just wanting to be really optimistic... I sure hope he can shake it off and do his best... he's coming off of his best individual season after all...
