Yeah, Kobe set two new records during that game, most in a row (9) and most in a game (12).

If he was playing this good before I voted, I would have voted for him. He wasn't putting up the numbers of the people I voted for. Spree might have made the 3pt shootout if it was selected after that game.

Spree set the record of most 3-pointers without a miss in the game.
Kobe missed shots.

I did vote for Spree & Houston.

Spree set the record for more 3s without a miss in a single game, and let's say if he comes back next time and hit few more without missing would be running for the record of more 3 straight.

Try to read better, Spree set the record for most 3-pointers in a game without a miss, not for consecutive hits (though it's the same :P) It wouldn't matter if anyone scores 10 in a row, if he'd missed just one in the same game Spree would have this record still.

Ah yes, a different record. Still a great achievement, especially for someone who is not credited as a great three point shooter.

Kind of like Michael Jordan in the 1992 NBA Finals. Sometimes you just get on a roll, then you're in the record books. The better shooters may not always hold the records, but can deliver when they are counted on.

Kobe, Michael.. hell, even spree are good jumpshooters. Their % might not be great, but stats can be very decieving. But I'm very suprised (and happy) that Spree had this type of game. The knicks could make a dash for the playoffs. Heh imagine if the Knicks make the playoffs and the Lakers don't. Who wouldve thought that?

It would definitely be a surprise, but I can't see it happening. Then again, that might just make it more of a surprise.
