Interesting that Doug Collins made it in too. He irritates me on his telecasts on TNT... I couldn't imagine listening to that douchebag everyday in practice...

I also think it says something about Kobe that he makes it onto the list TWICE.

i agree. Collins is the best color guy in the game. Steve Kerr is quickly becoming one of the better ones as well

i think Bird should be up there too. he was a mean, cocky bastard. he never did like McHale all that much

What i always like is the three man teams where they have a great play by play person (Kevin Harlan, Marv Albert, or my personal favorite Kevin Colabro) assisted by somebody who gives honestly good insight (Doug Collins, Hubie Brown or John Thompson) assisted by somebody who's recently played the game and can give great observations about a particular player (Steve Kerr and Reggie Miller, though his voice bugs me)

Could you imagine what a game would sound like with Charles Barkley, Tom Tolbert and Bill Walton doing the game? Ugh.

I've always though doug's sad sappy voice was a little annoying. Atleast he's better at it then coaching though...which isn't saying much.

I hate it how doug thinks the audience knows nothing about basketball as well as his daily rambling on players he coached. He always mentions like "I coached and LArry Hughes in Washington and he...." or something about coaching Michael. And his stupid "beep beep" comments about Leandro Barbosa. He thinks it's hilarious but he just needs to get over it

Is it just me, or does Bob Hill remind me of "Bubbles" from Trailer Park Boys?

I think Doug Collins is one of the few non obvious color men, he says the plays that teams are running and what they do to set up a guy and he associates things with stuff people are familiar with.
