Andrea Bargani: the next Nowitzki?

Postby [L3]1101 on Sun Mar 12, 2006 6:28 pm

I found this video clip of Andrea Bargani on google video. I don't know if you guys have seen this but it's pretty good. People are saying he's gonna be pretty high in the upcoming draft.

Meh, maybe.

Looks like he's got some potential.

Everyone looks good in a highlight reel. Even Ryan Bowen can look like Larry Bird in a highlight reel.

Well Gasol has a different game than Nowitzki as he's better in the post, and plays better D. Bargagni, while he does have decent dribbling skills, can't create as well as Nowitzki as of this moment. He has potential, but you can never predict potential.

he's the next tshkitsvilli (sp) as far as im concerned. making these superstar comparions for players who haven't played a minute in the NBA is just silly. i will be pissed if the Bulls pick this guy

ok ok, about the title of the thraed. I just copied it from the site. But it does seem like he's more of a SF than PF. But he's 6-11. He's pretty quick for that size. If a 6-11 guy can play the SF and shoot like that, that's pretty damn good. He might not be the next Nowizki, but looks like a pretty good player.

When a 6'11 guy plays as SF, it doesnt mean he is so good, it means he just hasnt enough Muscles and Strenght to play PF ;)

I understand what you mean, but i'm not saying that he HAS to play SF, but i'm saying that he has the option to play the SF, meaning he's a versatile player. Looking at the video he needs to get stronger though.

Oh well, i just thought that people might want to see the video clip. We get to see other college players play on TV, but rarely a chance to see international players.

lol, Gasol and Dirk's games are so different it's not even funny, or maybe it is .

The real next Dirk though was Skeeta. This guy actually looks like he has the quickness and athleticism for a bigger guy to be called a next Dirk, but also when you play against different competition, things change.

It would be funny if he came over and averaged like 25 pts, 11 rbs, 6 asst, 2 blk.
Then we would all jump on his bandwagon and praise him.

That said, he doesnt look all that good.
