A program to download the NBA.com Highlights

Postby Ruff Ryder on Wed Nov 30, 2005 7:22 am

I don't think this is against the rules but a program has been made that allows you to direct download the highlights from NBA.com. It was possible through a semi-complicated way before, but this does all the work for you.
imadthemad wrote:omg man i did it!
i did it in 2 dayz!
2 dayz!
and on lame vb.net!!!!!!

here is the link
http://rapidshare.de/files/8343440/NBA_ ... d.zip.html

just extract and run "NBA Vid Downloader.exe"

YOU DONT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING!

all the vids appear
you select a vid from the list
click download
it asks for folder to save in
and astalavista baybe! net transport starts downloading your video to that folder in asf format

no complex shit this is for real!

it is just a beta thing i ave to shape it up abit and design and maybe put some function that lets you re arrange items alphabetically etc...
wont be fully done yet but this, so far, is BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS

Note:Just one IMPORTANT thing...
once you click download to download a video, after you press/click ok for the folder, DO NOT PRESS ANY BUTTON ON THE KEYBOARD OR USE THE MOUSE FOR ONE WHOLE SECOND! JUST ONE SECOND!

The files do save as .asx but I think most videoplayers will open them. Make sure to check out Nate Robinson dunking on James Posey.

I think Homer posted something like this in the video link thread. Though I guess this makes it easier to find.

The link works great now, Ima test this baby out!

EDIT: Damn, didn't work. I double click on the program it says, and it throws an error. I had such high hopes. :(
