hmmm for orlando, will steve francis go to shooting guard position this season? he's still a point guard in preseason, and nelson is subbing :\
will james posey be sf or antonie walker? posey isnt that good, and walker is better at pf.. so who will be sf?

Moved to NBA Talk as it doesn't really have anything to do with NBA Live (06)..

I read somewhere that stan van gundy plans to use walker off the bench...
I think he did that quite well while he was still in dallas...

as for francis, that is what they said at the end of last year....

but of course they always tinker around to get the best out of their players....
YEAH BOY!

walker is shit, i really never understood why they brought him in. GP I understand but walker? you already have enough shooters on the team (williams, posey, kapono) and i don't even consider walker a shooter more like a brick layer. rebounding you got udonis haslem who i think is pretty underrated in doing so and decent rebounding guards in wade and payton. keep in mind you also have zo coming off the bench and that guy can grab his fair share of rebounds. that guy is cancer i tell you.. cancer

Ah ok. I still dont think Walker is a cancer: remember when he returned to the celtics last season? he was the added boost they needed to win the atlantic. Also in dallas, he accepted a much lesser role for the greater good of the team. He was also a huge part of that Celtics team in 2002 that was 2 games away from a sweep by the lakers.

I think he did that quite well while he was still in dallas...

Jamison was the player that came off the bench. Walker was a starter along with Dirk and Forston.

walker is ok, as long as he doesn't bother being a bench player.
just after he was traded i was thinking he should start, but i've changed my mind aftera lot of thinking... hehee

i think the heat lineup should be like this:

starting-> Shaq / Haslem / Posey / Wade / Payton

rotation-> Zo / Walker / Anderson / J-Will

bench warmers-> Doleac / Kapono / Wright
Smoke it up!!!

I think DeShawn Stevenson has a legitimate shot at the shooting guard spot for Orlando. It'll cause a logjam at the point guard, but the height problems that it'll cause defensively when you put Francis or Dooling at the shooting guard isn't worth it.

ya, probably posey at starter
walker might not be able to follow fast SFs i think
and francis still point guard i guess? after all, every coach would try their preplanned starting lineups, but i don think nelson ever became a starter in preseason
