Great move by Chicago. Chicago's offseason has to be applauded. They could have lost Curry, Chandler and Duhon. They retained all 3 and guarenteed that they'll be back in the playoffs next year.

Yup , Bulls kept their team intact , and thats a good sign , especially since they are a young team . Next year I might even see them in the 2nd round if they have a healthy Curry and Deng come playoff time . (Y) to the bulls.

Great move by the Bulls, but when did they resign Curry?

That's a good move by the Bulls but it was probably a huge contract that he doesn't deserve.

How much did Curry sign for? Is he offically signed yet? And if so, I'm sure they have sime of kind clauses about his health, right?

But can he stay healthy enough to envolve into the player that his contract and his potential says he is?

Fantastic. (Y) That just leaves the Curry situation to be resolved, preferably not through the qualifying offer.

I think they offered him a 6-year 60 million contract. Around there. Anyways, good move by the Bulls to retain his young talent (Y)

Look for both Chandler and Curry to become complacent again after the big fat paycheck. :(

"complacent" as in becoming the youngest player to ever lead the league in FG% and in the process dethroning shaquille o'neal in that category. or leading the team in scoring at a very efficient rate, forcing teams to double team him- opening up shots for everyone else

i'll take it

i've haven't heard of anyone ever challenging chandler's work ethic or desire

and it's just ignorant to ignore chandler having a career year and even improving on those numbers in the playoffs (11.7ppg, 9.7rpg, 2.2bpg in only 29 minutes per game) just because he's in a contract year

Nope. You just described the year PRIOR to the complacent one...

10 million bucks per year and how to spend it can be challenging for a man hs age.

Yup. The same way I ignored Jerome James monster numbers against Sacramento. :!:

dweaver: are you using greek logic or purposely being dense?

Nope. You just described the year PRIOR to the complacent one

actually i was referring to 2 separate seasons. curry lead the league in fg% in his 2nd year and lead the bulls in scoring this past year.

10 million bucks per year and how to spend it can be challenging for a man hs age. Wink

sorry but this is just stupid reasoning. i expect better from you

Yup. The same way I ignored Jerome James monster numbers against Sacramento.

you're ignoring reality too. james isn't half the player chandler is.

wait i should just stop. you're just making some baseless claim, not even backing it up with anything

I hope he doesn't mess around like some guy I know Kwame Brown (cough cough) and yeah. I'm expecting 10 rpg and 2 bpg nothing less for that kind of money he received.
