Garnett for the 2 Wallaces?!?!?!?!

I think this will be a bad move for the Pistons, if ever this will happen.

I dunno, Garnett is like a God compared to Ben Wallace and Rasheed...but they're 2, so if they make that trade, and put Garnett as PF who would be the Center?
I think is better to trade, for first, someone overrated like Tayshaun Prince for a Center and then trade Garnett for the 2 Wallaces...
Maybe the lineup will be this:

C - ...........
PF - Kevin Garnett/Darko Milicic/Antonio McDyess.
SF - Rip Hamilton/Kevin Garnett.
SG - Carlos Arroyo/Chauncey Billups.
PG - Chauncey Billups/Carlos Arroyo.
Dear Old World, you represent everything that's wrong...

Someone overrated like Tayshaun Prince??

Are you a total and complete moron? I would argue that Tay is probably the most important Piston. If it weren't for him there is no way the Pistons even reach the finals in 04. His long arms, defense, and versitality on offense make him one of the most UNDERRATED players in the league.

I hate Tayshaun Prince

That's weird, in my Pistons dynasty I have Garnett. Maybe I have special powers...

I guess this trade is unlikely to happen!
Garnett for the 2 wallaces is way too much...
if ever Garnett will be traded, it should only get one of the Wallaces and a minor plyr of the pistons. That, would be possible. ;)

OK, Tayshaun Prince is a really good defensive player, but he doesn't make the difference for the Pistons in offense...

Haha... if that happens I'll eat Riot's hat... if he has one...

The only way this trade has even a remote chance of occuring, is ONLY if KG requests to be traded. In this case, the two wallaces and 2 first rounders would be a not so bad deal. But the Wolves could do better than that, anyway.

I would argue that Tay is probably the most important Piston.

I'd have to agree. He is the link between the backcourt and the frontcourt. Plus in my book he's a better man-to-man and weak side defender than Big Ben. Not to mention his offensive game is still getting better and better. If he keeps working hard he'll be an All-Star in 2 or 3 years' time. (Y)

In the league I played in, we had a free agent period, and I got Tracy McGrady (I was the Rockets) , then a week or so later he went to the Rockets in the NBA.

But...this trade would definitely mix things up. I don't think I'd do it if I was either team, but I love seeing huge trades so I'm all for it.

What's Riot got to do with this?

Anyways one time I traded Vince Carter to Dallas in my NBA Live Dynasty, 2 years later in real life he was traded to New Jersey

He wears a hat. And he's from Minnie. And he has said on numerous occasion that KG will finish his career in Minneapolis.

Why would Minnesotta take two aging bigs for a surefire Hall of Famer who is at his peak?

Yeah, I think it's only a rumor... KG is a player like Kobe or MJ, he'll play only for one team: Minnesota

Garnett To Detroit For The Wallaces?
5th August, 2005 - 1:26 pm
Toronto Sun - According to an NBA source, the subject of a blockbuster deal involving Kevin Garnett, Rasheed Wallace and Ben Wallace has been broached between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Detroit Pistons .

The T-Wolves supposedly would send Garnett to the Pistons for the two Wallaces and two first-round picks.

I smell bullshit. KG will always be a T Wolve. Also its coming from the toronto star outta all presses ?

History will bury it... it will just be an odd sports memory that few would like to recollect... That's how history works.

By the way Da King, Rip Hamilton at small forward??

The thought of Ronnie guarding Rip makes me drool

AND Carlos Arroyo in the starting lineup... AS A SHOOTING GUARD!!! Oh man... That would be wonderful.

I really, really, really hope Detroit does this trade.

Even though it won't happen, Rasheed is going to implode without LB on the sidelines, so its all good.

Hopefully yes, but I don't see it.

Anyway, back on topic, I think KG has no reason to want to bail out of Minnie. Unless he sees that he'll be inevitably stuck with Sam and Spree next season, in which case even I wuuld request a trade. And i just LOVE cold weather and snow. 8-)
