Simmons deserved it, he has played well on both ends of the floor and has shot the ball with consistency.
Charlotte's Primoz Brezec was fourth with 75 points, and New Orleans' Dan Dickau was fifth with 68. Players were awarded five points for each first-place vote, three for each second-place vote and one for each third-place vote.
Prince was a dumb selection IMO, he got more MPG, about 6 more, and improved as any player his age should. It was really not anything marginal.
