Pacers Knicks Game

Postby Alcoholic on Mon Apr 11, 2005 8:12 am

Reggie made a big 3.

Pacers were up 3.

Crawford made an inside shot.

Reggie Miller fouled, made both free throws (of course 93.3%)

Kurt Thomas hits 3 from the corner, game tied

Someone on the pacers at top of key, waiting for Miller, running out of time, shoots 3, miss, Foster gets rebound, misses fallaway...

OVERTIME!

Reggie Miller has some 28 points I think... he's having a biiig game..

Shaq once shot 50% 3 pointers in a season.

Damn, 113-112, Marbury threw up a bad layup but it went right to Sweetney and he made a layup as the buzzer sounded.. poor Reggie.. :(

now u know that the 3 point shot is being overused , when wallace could hit one , collins could hit one , and kurt has 2 in one season , then something has to be wrong.

i feel sick to my stomache.

We should have won in regulation. We should have won in overtime, and we let sweetney tip it in to win the game. All the credit in the world to the knicks for playing a good game. But you did not want to be anywhere near me when this one ended

I dont blame AJ, he had a great great game, he hit some big shots. Noone was moving on the last play, he had nowhere to go with it, if anything i blame fred jones for leaving Kurt Thomas open long enough to get that three off at the end of regulation.

But i really cant place blame on anybody because the Knicks played very well, and while its a very tough loss to handle, we are still in a pretty good spot.

lol i disagree you can't really blame fred jones for that.. it was luck
AJ though, he could've handed it off to reggie but he chose to dribble beyond the 3 pt line for what seemed like ages and then instead of looking for someone in the weakside he went to the only area where there were 3 knicks players :\ i agree, great game by AJ but one bad, bad play.

Damn, I missed the second half. I was hoping I'd get to watch the whole thing, when all of a sudden my mom said I had to go to youth group at church. :x

see, i dont really care if the pacers get the 6th spot or the 5th, i think they can beat chicago or boston.

I take that back, i hope they get the 5th spot because then i can go to every game in the first round

the UC sucks? haha ok.. the old chicago stadium was much better: the seats weren't as pulled back from the floor like how it is now at the UC. and i'm pretty annoyed by all the timeout activities they have going on and how they have to crank up the volume on the announcer and the music playing. at the old stadium, the crowd was so loud you couldnt hear that stuff

wtf 100 section?! you a season ticket holder, mr pacer fan! :x

Im not a season ticket holder, i only go to games when the pacers play here.

and i usually buy seats in the 100 section.

but the energy in chicago stadium STILL was nothing compared to conseco.
