Vinsanity and the Nets

His team has won 5 straight. Ever since we got traded to the Nets he's been playing like he used to play.

Feb stats: 30.2ppg, 6.3 rpg, 3.8 apg
March so far: 26.7ppg, 6.8 rpg, 4.9 apg
With the Nets: 26.5 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 4.7 apg, .450 FG, .428 3P, .833 FT

Ladies and gentleman!!!!! VC is back my friends... and he's only 28 but Kidd wants to be traded to Minnesota to play alongside Kevin Garnett.

Show some luv to Vince and play with him one more year, I think Vince is very capable to take the Nets to the next level if he plays an entire year healthy.

Getting traded certainly revitalised his career. It's quite possible the Nets could make the playoffs with a couple of the other teams contending for the final spot on a bit of a slide; they're really close to catching up, closer than I thought before checking the standings today.

I would understand that Kidd wants to play for a contender... but maybe he should stay put for one more year. VC and RJ and him next season could be great! If only Kenyon were still around...

lol what a typo. i'd like to see the nets in the playoffs...8th seed....and then my heat destroy them lol. but seriously, with kidd, vc and rj, they could really do damage...THEY JUST NEED A CENTER!

There's the draft and they have a lot of CAP space.

Krstic is becoming a solid player, I would love to see him starting at PF for years to come.

I think this is highly unlikely, but imagine being able to land Ilgauskas in the offseason! But I think next season they'll manage to make the playoffs even with Jason Collins starting at C, they did make the finals two years straight with Collins starting.

Krstic looks to be getting better game by game, and even though he's no Kenyon Martin, he could be a solid player for years to come.

Although the Nets lose some talent going from Martin to Krstic, they definitley gain a lot by going from Kittles to Carter.

I think if even if they just work on improving their bench this season and maybe start looking for a nice rookie PG to replace Kidd in the long run they should be fine.

Hah, Vince is "revitalized"? He wasn't "revitalized", he just didn't give a rat's ass about Toronto and decided to force us to trade him for a bunch of hokey pokey veterans and a few first round picks. He just didn't want to put any effort, you could tell if you watched any Raptor game. He would score 20 or so to keep other teams interested, then would struggle to score 15 points for 5 straight games.

In the words of Charles Barkley, "half-man, half-season"

The trade seemed to change his attitude and placed him in a situation he's seemingly much happier in. In that respect, I'd say it revitalised his career.
