I will start then....

I think this is a good trade for the Nets. The Eastern conference is small so I line up of PG, Kidd, SG Jeffereson, SF Carter would work. This is considering Carter would start to TRY again.

Not sure about Zo to the Raps. I really don't care. I just want to see the old Vince back. The guy that pulls 360's in games and scores 25 a night.

all I can say is.....Wow! I don't know what New jearsy thinks there getting but Eric and Aaron Williams are real defensive hustle player like mitchell was. I guess this means Chris Bosh is Torontos new building block.

Toronto's got lotsa big guys now. :?

Nice backcourt of Carter/Kidd + Jefferson. High flying indeed if Carter can still manage to fly.

Toronto won this deal. They get a legit center in Zo (not as good as he used to be, but still dependable), Aaron Williams, another big guy to come off the bench who can rebound and score a bit, and Eric Williams, who imporves the bench drastically when Mo Pete is given the starting job. Carter is having the worst year ever, AND he's injured...again. Oh, wait, and they also got 2 1st rounders off a crappy team. BONUS!!!

In conclusion, they're is a cure for cancer, just send it to New Jersey.

Very interesting trade indeed.
I'm not quite sure what to think about the trade until we find out what Draft Picks that they trade away. For the good of the Nets, it better not be more than one of the high ones.
And if just Carter can stop getting injured all the time the Nets will do pretty good this season. Giving Kidd someone else to lob alley-oops to now that Martin is gone.... But if he gets injured, they will be totally screwed. Then their line-up will consist of a very good player, a good player and a bunch of bench-warmers (Worse than Raptors are now).
It’s a pretty good trade for the Raptors as well, giving them more depth and more options to play. Also getting such a good big-man like Mourning will be good for the entire team as well as for Bosh.

I like this trade. We all know Vince has been a bum the last 2 years but we all know what he is capable of. I think with a healthy Jason Kidd he can become a player again. Not sure what they can do about the middle though. The Nets are going to need a big or 2.

A remotivated Vince (it's possible) can dig NJ out of the hole there in.

i like this trade not because it's going to bring the nets to contention, but because it's going to be a crazy highlight reel session. they still have to upgrade their front court though, scalabrine is kinda small as a 4.. and other than him and jason collins i can't name any other players that can play the power-forward and center positions. i can't wait to see how this pans out

didn't Vince Carter wanted to be traded to a contender? From here, I don't see the improvement compared to Toronto, all the more that I am disappointed that Carter may not spend his whole career in one team.

The times of Magic Johnson, David Robinson, John Stockton & co are really over now :)

I doubt any immediate contenders were willing to give anything in return. Most contenders are set roster wise.

Besides, playing along side Kidd isn't as bad as playing along side Rose.

Both Kobe and AI has had serious considerations about moving...
KG was also rumoured to be getting traded to the Bulls.
I doubt that Timmy would though (y)

Somehow this is a good trade for the Raptors.
I hope VC breaks both his legs and J-Kidd get beaten up by his wife (REVENGE!), so that Kaniel Dickens (who?) can become a star.
