Malone to Spurs (?)

Rumour has it Malone is heading to the Spurs. I'd rather see him play for the Heat, interesting to see how this developes..

Rumor seems to have some substance to it.

Meanwhile, Malone, reported by one Internet site Wednesday afternoon to have agreed to terms with the Spurs, was believed to be on his ranch in Arkansas when the game tipped off. He also was believed to have missed several phone calls made the past two days by Popovich, who remains interested in signing him to a contract but might be running out of patience.

My San Antonio.

What curse? They seemed to be playing fine the first few games including the opener vs Dallas. Probably the smoothest game with all of them playing.

The "not winning championships curse"

Not everyone played during the season opener, Kobe wasnt fully recoverd from his knee injury and sat out the game.

Spurs without Malone are still the favorite to win it all. Add Malone to them, just give the trophy now to the Spurs and playing the regular season and layoff will be just a formality.

But i know along the way, the Malone curse will have an effect on the Spurs campaign and will mess it all and will not win the champoinhip this year.

I love Malone but he was destined not to win a ring. He was destined to be the "Best Power Forward in NBA" (and be the Best hunter of little Mexican girls)

but the lakers would have been the favorite last year WITHOUT malone AND payton.....after adding malone/payton, i think the only people who didn't think they would win it all were in denial or just retarded (me.).

if he does play again, here's hoping he's #32 again. I HATED seeing him in #11

EDIT: me and amphatoast just said almost the exact same thing at the exact same time. eerie.

Malone said he won't go to the Timberwolves because he doesn't like Latrell Sprewell

So it looks like it's between San Antoino and Miami.

man I have respect for what the Mailman has done but I dont want to see him on the Spurs, he'll just bring his big Mexican Hunter drama of current to the NBA's most peaceful ball club.

Let him go to Miami, DO NOT SIGN HIM POPOVICH.....No Mailman on Spurs.......PLLLLLLLLLLLLEAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSEEE !!!!!!!

"we" can win the title without him....I know it .....
