rockets and grizzlies

Ok, I know it's still early in the season, but these 2 teams don't seem to be playing good at all.
the grizzlies look like they won't make the playoffs now with Hubie gone ( just too many good teams in the west)

and now the rockets
the t-mac and yao combo had people putting rockets to be 4th in the west..instead they 4th worst in the west!
is it chemistry? is it lack of depth since they gave up so much for mcgrady? is it van gundy style of play?

I said it during the offseason, the Rockets will not have a better record then they had last year at all with the addition of Tracy McGrady. I still stand to that statement.

i gotta admit you are looking good with that prediction so far. if could could play tougher and mcgrady player harder( a weak and lazy combo aint that good lol) they would be doing much better.

The Rockets were a lot better last year with Francis-Mobley-Yao. I don't think McGrady and Yao can mesh easily. They need to play together more.

i think cuz its early in season so they not use to everyone yet, i think they will get better later in year, maybe not playoffs this year but hopefully they will considering i live in houston
but i think next year they will be much better unless they go and change the whole team again lol

At least the Grizzlies have an excuse while we still have some players hurt we are just not getting our new coach. I know that things going to turnaround in Memphis, but I knew Houston was overrated from the start. Some people had them finishing ahead of the Spurs and Twolves in the division. I think the Grizz can still make the playoffs because I didn't know that much about Fratello at first, but I found out that he led the Cavs who hardly had anybody to 4 playoff appearances in 6 seasons. He led the Hawks to 5 playoff appearances in 7 seasons or something like that. So I'm pretty sure he can do the same with a Grizz team who was better than those teams. Fratello emphasizes defense so we should become a good defensive team in a few months or maybe less.
