What are you expecting to see from him this season? do you see a him getting better numbers from last season? I'm predicting a 25-6-6. But I think a 23-6-6 would be more accurate. I also see the Clev making the playoff this year.

I see the Cavs as a team that needs improvement but still can show the NBA what they got. This year is more than likely there year to get into the playoffs IMo.

LeBron is now a sophomore and he has learned a lot about NBA ball and if he could put up numbers liek that in his Rookie year, wonder what he can do in his sophomore year

i think he can up his average to about 25-26 points per game if he improves his jumpshot and his freethrow shooting.. im pretty sure he can though, i've read that he's been working on his game this summer

LeBron can be the best player in the NBA in a couple of years, its just if he wants to be the best and if he is focused. If he doesnt get involved with anything bad, drugs, distracted or injured then he should do good. He has plenty of good years ahead of him!

New rules, Lebron is adjusted to them well as many offensive players have, and is going to the basket more and also getting to the line more which is what they were intended to do, increase scoring. Also like I said in my other post he wasn't driving as much as he should've last season, but he's still only shooting 38% on jumpshots which is better than last year at 35.6%, but if he was still taking too many he'd be at about 45% from the field. Also he improved his jumpshot, but I expected that anyways.

Not too far off on the other numbers, the Cavs as a team are shooting 45.9%, but mainly the other main guys out of Lebron, McInnis, Z and Gooden are all shooting over 46% which will help his assist numbers, 0.6 higher than I predicted.
Also their's the increase in minutes, and his passing efficiency is actually down from last season. He improved his defensive rebounding though which covers for most of the rebound increase.

....and for the PPG, he's getting to the line more, and shooting a higher percentage, he's still taking about the same amount of shots as last season, so it was pretty accurate IMO.

No doubt my brother, I didn't mean to single you out per say. As if you didn't know what you were talking about or were hatin' on him but rather that he's really exceeding a lot of our expectations.

As far as all the other Cavs go, it's Bron that is making them better. West himself gave up on Goodie after half a season and after the stint in Orlando people were prepared to label him a potential bust.

His unselfishness and willingness to give up the ball is infectious, they really play well together because they know their go-to-guy isn't playing with any personal agenda. He's a supremely talented player who makes the right play at the right time, a coaches dream.

West didn't really give up on him, but Gooden is a PF and was playing SF in Memphis because they have Pau Gasol and Stromile Swift, their was really no place for him on that team because he wasn't a real SF, that's why he got traded for Mike Miller who's an actual SF.

His performance right now doesn't surprise me, I actually thought his points would be higher, I've been a fan of Gooden's, and in Orlando when he first came, his numbers were compareble to now because he was playing his natural spot at PF.
Remember in the playoffs against the Pistons, he was averaging I think 12.7 rebounds in 33 minutes.

The problem with Orlando is that first he was playing C, SF, PF, and wasn't the consistent PF because of their stupid signing of Juwan Howard, and secondly he lost motivation after a while. If anyone named him a bust they were judging too early especially considering his circumstances, and his numbers still weren't too bad.

I was expecting about 13-15 points and 9-10 rebounds, 1 block/steal this season from him on 47% FG, and so far he's producing 12.6 points, 10.2 rebounds, 1.06 steals, 1.17 blocks, on 49% FG, and his FT% has improved rapidly, so I'm happy for him.

If you trace back to his stint in Orlando as a rookie, 13.6 points, 8.4 rebounds, 0.79 steals, 0.68 blocks, and 49.8% FG, [28.6 mins] he could've put up these current numbers last season if Orlando weren't such idiots. I wasn't too happy when they got Howard.

Also about Lebron's shot selection, it also shows his superior basketball IQ, Wade was on that impressed me last season with that, he didn't do what he wasn't good at, and just did what he's best at in terms of offensive production, and that's something Lebron has quickly picked up.

His man to man defense is still suspect, he doesn't have the same lateral quickness as other guard's because of his weight, but he also doesn't have the intensity yet, Artest doesn't have great lateral quick's, much less than Lebron's, but defense is a lot about commiting to it and dedication to shutting your man down.
