Lots of possibilities for him
NY, Dallas, and Cleveland are the top teams going for him. I won't be suprised to see others go for him too.

NY are pretty much out of the picture now.

I think the trade that would make most sense is Jamison for big Z. (Y)

Giving the "Sheed Era" one more chance is risky, unless Sheed is committed to staying Portland if they want him around. These days, you should always try to get something in return. You can't hope free agents will come just because you have the money. Welcome or unwelcome in Portland, Sheed has enough trade value to land Portland the pieces they need to move in the direction they want, be they draft picks, players or dollars.

You think wallace is better than Antawn Jamison? I dont know about that. I dont know if wallace will be happy to come off of the bench. Unless the make 'toine come off the bench.

I'd rather have Jamison, I mean Sheed has never even scored over 20ppg in his career, and his highest rebounding year was 8.2 boards per game while Jamison's were 8.7 and 8.3, and Jamison gets offensive boards while Sheed hardly gets any.

The only things he has on Jamison are 3pt shooting and blocking.

But maybe he's what Dallas needs, I don't think he'll come off the bench, they'll probably play him at the 5. If he's benching he won't be too happy.

Since someone is being silly and citing per game averages...I think I will compare these players for everyone...

Based on this season:
Overall: Jamison
Offensive Glass: Jamison (by almost double)
Defensive Glass: Sheed
Rebounding Overall: Sheed
Assists: Sheed (by more than double)
Ball Handling: Jamison
Scoring: Jamison
Getting to the line: Jamison
Defense: Sheed (by light years)

Jamison has been Allas Mavwrecks' hardest working player this year and I'd probably even give him the nod over Dirk as their best player this year (their PRO's are within one point of each other). I'd rather they trade Walker for Sheed, but if Jamison is the guy they have to move to get it done. Do it. Sheed exerts almost no effort offensively but pours his heart and soul into defense. His top-notch defense combined with the mentality should work wonders for Allas.

If they were able to trade Walker for Sheed I'd consider them a legit contender again. Jamison for Sheed, I'd move them back up above Minny, but still a bit outside.
