Yeah you're right. Personally i didn't like the firing of doc rivers it should have been JOHN GABRIEL!! But i see the team is improving a little bit. They're getting there its just a matter of will. T-MAC played great in the 4TH Quarter but carter is also clutch. I would stick with this team even if they keep losing coz that's what true fans are really made of.

It's gotta be the new uniforms.

But seriously, they cannot be this terrible! Damn I know how if feels to keep losing and losing. You begin to expect to lose rather than win. Sickening stuff. I'm sure by seasons end they'll pick up a considerable number of wins. Anyone good comming out of college next year? :P

I remain very surprised by the Magic's play. On paper, they appear to have a better team than last year. Although that doesn't always translate to success on the court, Orlando should be playing better than their record shows.

the magic have now lost quite a few close game by not many points, these are the type of games u win when your teams on a streak and unfortunatley for the magic there not, also with the addition of 9 new players (i think) during the offseason i think the team hasnt yet gel'd...Tracy is also under immesne pressure now from opposing teams and teams no that if mcgrady has a off nite or doesnt hit 30+ points they have a very high chance of winning

peace

game after game after game. Same results. It starts to make you wonder if they can go on a 81 game losing streak lol.
Maybe they can beat the Knicks again on December 29th or January 14th.

The next 5 games don't look too good for Orlando. New Orleans ( home and home), San Antonio, Dallas and Phoenix.

Imagine if Cleveland keeps their road streak alive and Orlando runs their total upto 27 (doubt it), but if they both keep their streaks alive, on Christmas Day (Dec. 25th :? ) they meet on ESPN at Orlando.

Games Orlando could win:

Dec. 10 @Washington
Dec. 16 @Chicago
Dec. 19 Golden State
Dec. 21 @Toronto
Dec. 25 Cleveland
Dec. 29 New York

tough games in December: (some mentioned above)

Dec. 2 New Orleans
Dec. 3 @New Orleans
Dec. 5 San Antonio
Dec. 8 Phoenix
Dec. 12 New Jersey
Dec. 17 @Indiana
Dec. 22 @Philadelphia
Dec. 26 @San Antonio

If they win those mentioned under could win and lose mentioned tough games.
There record would be 7-23, you can see how far they have gone down with these streak.

To finish 41-41, they would need a record of 40-26 .606 winning percentage, this winning percentage over an entire season is 50-32.
If they split the rest of their games (33-33) that's 34-48 for the season.

I think they will be around 18-64.

Emeka Okafor could be Orlando's lottery cash-in.

That knucklehead at NBADraft.net!

Do you really believe some High School kid is the answer to Orlando's problems, tell me how, and remember to look over to the standings and tell me all about how LeBron is fixing Cleveland's massive hemorrhaging. Or maybe Kwame Brown soaring the Wiz up the standings.
Cleveland has Darius Miles and LeBron James, they might be good in 2008.

Chris Bosh may turn out to be the best player in this mix of young players, though he was no college veteran either. But he's certainly more together than the Yugo in Detroit and some inmature kid from the NBADraft.net site. I can tell you fifty horrible predictions that clown over there at that site as put his can't miss stamp on, that's in the past 5 years.

Here are some examples of this guy's comments:

Jerome Moiso UCLA So. PF 6-10 230 Originally from the West Indies via France, His athleticism is reminiscent of Kevin Garnett. His offensive game needs to catch up with it. Prefers the perimeter to posting up offensively, his outside shot is good but needs more consistency. Very adept shot blocker and rebounder.

Marcus Fizer Iowa State Jr. PF 6-8 240 The next Charles Barkley? Fizer has a game and attitude that is reminiscent of the "Round Mound of Rebound". Fizer is one of the top PF prospects in College. He not only has the size and strength for the next level but a competitiveness to him that will be beneficial. His has a great offensive game away from the basket and excels when the game is on the line.

Mark Cuban has visions of Championships dancing through his head and looks ready to give his team a Portland type payroll. Don Nelson plays the mad scientist adding just the right elements to the concoction. Donnell Harvey is going to be a STUD in a couple years. He's a pup right now but as soon as his body fills out, watch out! After having the worst rebounding team in the league, the additions of Etan Thomas, and Harvey were just what the mad scientist ordered. Courtney Alexander is going to come in and be one of the most productive rookies and could very well win the ROY.

The Blazers got a steal at 28. Erick Barkley is going to make alot of teams look bad for passing on him, namely Toronto and New York. The Blazers won't have quite the pressur to resign Greg Anthony and Barkley can learn behind Stoudamire. (or Payton?)

The Raptors blew their pick when they didn't take Erick Barkley. Morris Peterson is a nice athlete and shooter, however he lacks perimeter skills- passing and handles. This team needs to add complementary players to the Vinsanity show and Mo Pete doesn't fit that bill. He's too similar to Vince in his weaknesses and not close enough to Vince in his strengths to warrent the pick. DeeAndre Hulett has the potential to be a nice scorer, but is very green after one year in JC and one in the IBL.

The Warriors gave everyone the first real surprise of the draft passing on more highly touted Eddie Griffin for Jason Richardson. Richarsdson has the potential to be one of the elite shooting guards and athletes in the entire NBA. This was a great draft choice, and while Richardson may not impress immediately, he will eventually turn out to be a dynamite selection. Troy Murphy was a very solid pick. While Michael Bradley, who was taken 3 spots later, may have more potential as an offensive player. Murphy is more of a sure bet and should be stronger and tougher defensively. This is an excellent selection at 14, and expect Murphy to be a similar type of player as Raef LaFrentz, a player who went third, 3 years back. Arenas over Cook was the teams mistake. Omar Cook would have given them a young point guard, instead they gain a Vinny Microwave type of instant offense guard.

*7 traded (Eddie Griffin) to Houston for 13, 18, 23
Richard Jefferson 6-8 215 SF Arizona Jr.
Jason Collins 6-11 255 C Stanford So.
Brandon Armstrong 6-5 188 SG Pepperdine Jr.
New Jersey made a bad decision trading it's mid lottery pick away for 3 mid first rounders. Sure the team has many holes to fill but with players such as Joe Johnson and Rodney White available, three role players do not makeup for the type of pick that you need to build a nucleus around. Not only is the philosphy wrong but the picks were not great ones. Did somebody say Westsiiiiiiide?

Michael Jordan took his time evaluating players and contemplating trades, and in the end he stayed true to his word and drafted as if he wasn't coming back and grabbed the top talent with the most upside potential in the draft. With Kwame, it's not just his game that grabs you. It's the way in which he speaks and carries himself. He seems wise beyond his years and is unafraid to speak his mind. The Wizards have landed the drafts true susperstar and under the tuteledge of the greatest, expect big things. Maybe this GM thing will work out for MJ.

Amare Stoudemire is a big gamble, and could reap enormous rewards. But some specimens never work at their games and until he develops some offensive skills, he'll get a few highlight dunks and a whole lot of bench time and frustration
