New EAGE 1.0.3 finished ....

Postby Brien on Sat Jan 18, 2003 7:54 am

Sorry for the lack of needed features here, but these problems are a little more complicated. I decided to go ahead and release what I had. I will do what I can to fix court problems and Jersey mipmap (loss of detail) errors soon.

I have submitted the file to the NLSC.

New to version 1.0.3
January 17
1. Fixed a bug where a mipmaped view of DXT3 image appeared
inccorrectly
2. Fixed a bug where clicking on a tool button with no image
open resulted in a memory access error. (Thanks to Thunderchief66)
3. XBox images can now be opened but the image appeared garbled.
(...my research reveals xbox images are "swizzled") I don't
know how to read that...yet.
4. Fixed a bug that prevented some ini files from being extracted
from a viv file.
5. Fixed a bug where saving to a fsh file resulted in a memory
access error.

I haven't announced it on the main site yet, but it's available for download: EA Graphics Editor

Actually...unless you want to pay for FilePlanet...at this moment...you can't download it from anywhere because GameSpy has removed both the free servers...

Down with FilePlanet! Down with FilePlanet! Down with FilePlanet!

If you don't want to wait, or sign for a fileplanet account, etc. You can get EAGE 1.03b at http://www.nbalive.org look in the Tools section for it. Or follow the link on the news item. Enjoy!

The FilePlanet issue has apparently been resolved. Upon checking an hour ago, it seems that both free servers are now back up (finally). So...I guess that's good news. Ben has of course provided a mirror on nbalive.org, so all is not lost.
