Problems of Eagraph

Postby JOSEPATCHES on Sun Dec 22, 2002 10:30 am

Well,First of all,The new version of Eagraph can´t be used to see the high textures of Live 2001.
Second,Why you can´t see the graphics of EA Sports games as perfect as with FSHTOOL?
Example:
From the original NBA LIVE 2001 CD:

I have not gone back to see if the new EAGE can read OLD versions of games. EA changed its file format for DXTC graphics. So the 2001 files are not read the same way. Honestly, I suspected that EAGE would read the old files just fine. Thanks for the info.

As for the quality issue, I think I have corrected that. (in unreleased version) It seems that the only way to get the high resolution is if you create 24 bit graphics like fshtool. I fought this for some time now, but 24 bit is the way to go. Actually, for the the DXT3 files (court graphics) I have gone with 32 bit files.

BTW, the graphic you included did not have that BAD of a difference between the graphics. Try mike bibby!

My eyesight is bad so it all looks good to me :)

I will try to release a new version before xmas.
