Statistics !

there's something i don't understand about the statistics

in the league leaders i have for the 3 points leader a guy with 727 %
at rank number 1 but when i go to the players statistics i have 4 guys who have more than 727 % so they should be ranked number 1, 2 and 3 before the one who has 727 % and the same also happens for the field goals


Can someone explain why these stange things happens in the league leaders statistics versus the players statistics ??

by the way i play a season with all the teams user controlled but when comes the time to play , i play all the games computer vs computer..when i choose the option ..at a glance.. there's nothin there...no injuries , no team streaks , no best player of the week , well nothin at all why ?

There are circumstances that must be fulfilled to get to the League Leaders. I don't know the exact nubers but it goes something like this:

A player must have played mosat of the season's games to get his average to the LL.
If you play a 82 game season and shoot 40 points with a guy in one game and don't play him any more then he will not lead the league in scoring because he played just one game.

Same goes for percentages. I'd say a player must attempt atleast 2 3PT FGs a game to make to the LL. A guy who shoots 4/5 threes in 82 games wouldn't be considered a great 3-point shooter, or would he?

Check Basketballreference.com or NBA.com for the minimum qualification standards for each statistical category. These benchmarks have not changed significantly in almost twenty-five years; & EA's stat standards are based on the NBA's standards, for the most part.
