Help! missing players

In Franchise mode,when I end one season and come to the next season .I always miss many players in free agent .Why does it happen?Does the number of free agent has a limit? How can I save these players?

you mean that they retire?no

they just disappear
neither in players.dbf

Sorry, but i don't use the Franchise mode. I prefer to make patches; i'm crazy :crazy:

Indeed, in franchise mode, the computer only keeps the 100 best players in the free agency pool after one season. That's why so many players suddenly "disappear"
