Game crashes when I try to acquire free agents, Help!

Guys,

Everytime I try to trade players from the free agent pool--no matter if it's a created player (example: myself), a player already in the game (ex: Billy Owens), or a player with a cyberface patch (ex: Lebron JAMES)--the game crashes and displays a "nbawincd" error message. I'm sure this is a bug in my roster patch. What should I do? If I reinstall the game, won't that delete all of my cyberfaces? I don't want to lose all of my created rookies like Kirk Hinrich, LeBron, Melo, etc. And I sure as hell don't want to spend two hours creating replicas either.

If there's a bug in the roster files you are using, then there's not much you can do except to start a new roster, or seek out the errors in the DBF files and correct them.

that's normal if you're using Ben's roster.

A lot of people encountered this problem before you but Ben never fixed it.
