Stupid Question

Is there any way to make this game so that it will play by itself without you controlling the teams? That's one of the features I really like about the '99 one.

yes there is

when you get to the controller select screen (with the green or purple or red keyboard/gamepad icons) just move the icon that is under a team back to the middle

Thanks mon! It worked easily. And easy was the solution to the problem. Do you know that when I bought this game way back then-virtually on it's release date-that I called up EA Sports and talked to a rep there and he said it couldn't be done? hehehe
