Director's Cut

Postby cricnewbye on Sat Nov 22, 2014 2:42 am

Replays functions aren't really a very important aspect of a game, surely not for someone like me since graphic itself is not a main concern of mine. But I sometime enjoy watching an action over and over agin and I noticed that this year the Director's Cut feature is a bit broken..... for me only or what? When I use this Replay feature only thing I can see is a messy and superfast clip that lasts less than 2 seconds and where it's impossible to see the relevant action at all since everything happens too fast and with a bad camera angle... anyone else noticed that?

I think I noticed this as well, but I usually create my own angles instead of using the directors cut. It seems that this year they are saving less time(saving memory?) on each replay, and they get cut off really quickly when you use the directors cut. Does that sound accurate?

Nice to hear that, I also make my own replay angle, but I was surprised to see that the game makers didn't notice that..... I repeat that surely this isn't an important feature at all, but the replay section feels a bit bugged with that and since they never had any problem removing features from one game to the next (and many times without a good reason to do so) then it had no sense keeping it the way it looks like right now.

Yeah, the replay time is much shorter. Shouldn't be too much of a problem though if you quickly pause after a nice clip and record the replay.
