Finishing Alley-Oops

Is it the same process as last year, where in order to be able to finish alley-oops, you have to do one to yourself in mycareer?

uhh last year you could call for a lob or do it yourself but this year either way you have to make your myplayer guy finish ie dunk/lay-up by pressing the shoot button or any direction on right analog stick
