Same problem as Nexus, hope 2K fix this

Downloading the audio driver let me see the KD splash screen for like 30 sec then sent me back to the desktop

Check your audio output settings. I had problems with other games when I had the output rate set at 24 bit and 192000hz. Change it to 16 bit, 48000 or 44100 hz. To get there, open playback settings from the control panel and right click your output device(speakers in my case). It should be the far right tab of the properties window.

NBA 2k15 still crashes after the patch. Every time I try to go to the My player store, look at the shoes and after I buy a pack in my team.

by the update ive noticed no changes..
but thats my problem, too! not since the update, since release..
but if i try to enter myTeam its crash, not since release, since a few days before the update.
and if i try in myCareer look at the sponsering contract (sprint contract, join a club with 500.000 fans, and that with the school gym), guess what? right -> crash

Just wanted to say that the latest patch solved my issues and I can now launch the game. Better late than never I suppose (it's been two weeks).
Thanks for all the help, Leftos. This PC only patch aimed at the crash issues looks related to how much you've been looking into this.

Glad you're able to finally get it fixed, Nexus. You and I complained about this issue from the start. I fixed it by throwing money at the problem (buying a new vid card that will take the latest drivers.

What card are you using again? How's the performance? I my return this vid card if it turns out I can play 2k15 without it. (I had a pair of ATI 4850's crossfired.)

I'm running the game on a GTX 770 2GB. Maxed out at 1080p. Runs butter smooth at a constant 60 fps.

I wonder what it was that caused the issue. Leftos, can you explain what was tweaked in this second patch that fixed the crash?

Looks like it was related to certain sound card models.

AHAHAH. That's cause they went out, bought a bunch of overpriced video cards that stunk and were incompatible with their PCs.
