NBA 2K15 PC Free weekend

Postby ThePointForward on Fri Oct 31, 2014 5:48 am

To celebrate start of the new season, NBA 2K15 is free to play through this weekend on Steam.
Play for free! Ends in 3 days and 23 hours
//Timestamp: 8:47 (GMT+1) 10/30/14

So anybody who's in doubt if they'll be able to play either because of their HW or connection, you should definitely try.

Agreed. In the absence of a demo, it's a good opportunity to check it out. (Y)

How does it work? If it is free to play, do i have to pay for it after it expires?

In those 3 days you are free to play and do whatever you want, after that you have to pay if you want to continue playing.
I must say this would be much more intriguing to new players if the game is not 50GB+, which most of the time require at least 1 day to download.

You can download, install and play the game for the duration of the offer, enjoy the full experience, do everything like in regular full version and after the time runs out you can either buy the game and continue playing where you left or delete the game.

But I also agree that for games this big could have the free to play weekends announced early with preload option.

Oh, and it's limited to the real time, not play time.

Free version is without patches? My friend wants to try the game and I gave him all game files (downloading would take too long) but without .exe file. Steam downloaded his own .exe but when we played he had hair transparency glitch and stuttering. Anybody knows something?

More like 58 hours for me :( Not even gonna bother with it. Waiting for new PC and then saving 35€ for NBA 2K15. Hopefully box edition :mrgreen: If there is one.
