How do I play with friends?

How do I add my friend so that he'll show up in 2k when we're both online. Right now, we're both online but 2k15 doesn't show him and he doesn't see me. This is really annoying. We added each other as Steam friends and even then, it says we're both offline when we're online.

I was able to fix it last night. Turns out that on Steam, even though I was online and connected to the internet, I was set as offline in the Friends section. Go to Friends > Online in the top menu. When you do that and restart 2k15, you will be able to see your friends in the locker room and MyCareeer > MyPark.

Both of you should make sure that you're set to Online. Let me know if this fixes it for you.
