Have you seen the files?

Postby Dmayne on Tue Oct 07, 2014 2:58 pm

I don't feel like posting the screenshot but instead of seperate files for everything, it's all linked together by like seperate 30 files. I really hope this doesn't make things harder/impossible to mod...

It may make thing easier? idk we only have to open 1 type of file, we shall see...

Had a feeling this would happen given the new engine and all. I wonder what files each one contains though.

That's against the rules. I think you might be right though, that the files are just huge archive files with all the shit in them. That shouldn't be TOO difficult.

Some of the files actually open in 7-zip, and good news. The textures are DDS files.

I was kinda right, in that they do open in 7-Zip, but when you open them, you can only see one or two files. Either way, this is good news, since if 7-Zip can kinda open them, it should be easy enough to crack these things.

Thats great news if they open in 7 zip. He probably sent the file to 7 zip and extracted it right?

Great news! Can somebody share a roster life?? I think the default roster was in the game main folder (It was called Roster.ROS), and edited rosters were stored in AppData/NBA 2K14/Saves.

If you have the 2K15 Icon on your desktop try to right click it and then press "open file location"

Right click on 2K15 in your steam library, go to properties, and then go to the 'local files' tab and click 'browse local files'.

No, I mean they have those dds files, right? Just one, not all. It's not like we're distributing the .exe file.
