Can't edit sXXX.iff files

My NBA 2KX mod tool won't load these files and it says there's an error and some java exception for the iff file. I'm running 8.1 but I also tried it on another Windows 7 Pro PC and it didn't work either ._.

Also can you wipe rosters of the players and create one from scratch or is that something else you need to pay for something that's website is down and creator takes weeks to reply.

Why not make it free its been 4 years.
