Funny huh, how easy it actually is? Haha. When I figured it out I couldn't believe how easy it was, I was pretty sure it would make my game crash or something but it works perfectly! Now the draft doesn't even matter. Not having to play that stupid rookie showcase game anymore, I dig it!

PS: I did get the occasional crash after switching teams, but that was because the rotation was all out of whack. To fix that, all you have to do is go to the rotation of your team, save your career and presto!

When you have the trainer running, all the settings values are automatically locked in-game. So all you have to do is save your association/MC file and the sliders (with all the other settings) are saved!

Hey, saw you helping everybody else but me, so I thought that I should repost my comment. So Everything worked for like a week and now it doesnt. I tryed DEP, aslo deleting all save files and nothing happend. I have my Online Data deleted and at first I was playing with few mods, I thought that these somehow bugged with trainer(*Note. At first it worked perfectly with mods) and I re-installed the game, still doesnt work. And yes I tryed something like Running Trainer and/or Game as admin as such things. Hope someone knows how to fix it or smth. And sorry for my English.

Ehm, the trainer seems to be working fine in that screenshot (players are loaded properly) so what exactly is it that you are doing before that error pops up?

Im trying to copy info. It doesnt matter what, atribbutes, stats, hotspots, contract or anything else. I saw some people having the same problem too. Hope someone knows how to fix that.

You start off by saying that everything was working fine when using the trainer, then it didn't. I don't understand why you would say that when it's simply a problem with copying things, which doesn't work for anyone and it's most likely a problem with the trainer. If you want people to help you out, don't make up bogus problems.

Alright, I may have found out why people are having problems with getting the settings (and MC, etc.) not loading properly in the trainer. I have been able to duplicate it, and fix it every time.

So, what not to do? Do NOT load any rosters, draft classes, settings, nothing! Go to your MC or Association immediately and then start up the trainer. You should be able to load every file now as long as you keep the trainer running, all the options in the trainer should be displayed properly. If not, you know what to do to fix it. Well, hopefully! It wouldn't be the first time something works for someone, but not for everyone.

Read the opening post. This has been discussed so many times already. You need to set the locations to the game directory in the trainer properly.

I read it many times and i try to found my mistake.... but nothing..... the pop up window where i must set directories doesn't show to me..... i had delete online data folder and disconnect from web before launch it..... but nothing too.

There has to be something you're doing wrong, otherwise I have no idea why you would keep getting that error. Have you tried putting the trainer in your NBA 2k14 folder, clean out your registry from errors and then start the trainer? (Keep in mind, the trainer leaves a registry entry, use CCleaner or something similar to clear it out)

- I tried to putting the trainer in my nba 2k14 folder and run trainer..... error!
- I cleaned registry with ccleaner and run trainer.... error too!

- Maybe i must install some other software required like net framework, java or other?
- I had installed on my game ultimate base roster mod.... is a possible trouble?
- I read first page and i deleted online data folder (some days ago) on appdata/etc etc.... is right?
- I had installed game on a partition of hard disk.... is a possible trouble?

During many years i used every type of softwares and tools and never happened this kind of thing... very very strange!

I had installed on my pc two operating systems..... windows 7 that is used by me and in another partition windows xp that is used by another person that dislike windows 7..... windows xp partition is biggest than mine.... and i installed every games and other data here..... and i always used every game from windows 7 without trouble.
Now i had reboot and entered on windows xp and run from there trainer.... and is working!!!
Under windows 7 no.... mystery get bigger!

I've had no problems running it on Windows 8.1, so it's not the OS that's the problem. Do you have XP and Windows 7 installed on different hard drives, or are they on the same hard drive on different partitions? If it's the latter, I wouldn't be surprised if that's the problem.

Hey Nightfly67, the trainer was working perfectly for me until last night.
Whenever I start the trainer, my desktop lags for a bit then boom error.
It was working until something happened. Any suggestions on how I could fix this?

The setting file only changes some options on the trainer iirc.
