What's up fellas...thanks again for everything and having a blast with this but been trying to start a season w/ default setup as the Cyclones and the game crashes right before tipoff of the first game...tried simming that and playing the 2nd game but it did the same thing...had success playing 3 games into a season with the Hawkeyes so maybe it's an Iowa State issue?...does anyone have success starting a 29-game default setup season w/ Iowa State and being able to get through the tipoff of the first game (which is a home game btw)?

Edit: Does it matter that I created a player and put him on the Cyclones?...they only had 12 on the roster so there was room

First 2 times it crashed w/ my created player (one time right at tipoff, once right before tipoff)...just tried it again w/ redloaded roster file and did default season and got 1:30 into first game against Miami and it crashes. Repeated w/ Iowa and no crash up to half which is all I played and quit out. Could a dorna issue cause random crash for a team? I remember last year something to do with Ok St having a dorna issue that I believe was causing crashes.

Its the dorna file causing the crash. I noticed this problem back from the beginning and forgot about it. I resolved it by renaming the Iowastatedorna.iff (iowastatedorna1.iff or even delete it) and the problem will go away but there will not be dornas for the Iowastate stadium.

It has something to do with the arkansas dorna using the dorna011.cdf. I dont know why or how it is messing up, but it does. I suppose Big could modify the roster file for Iowastate to use the generic dorna maybe, or even create a new dorna file for them.

I had the same issue with quick game mode with Iowa state. delete the Iowa state dorna and try your games. Issue was resolved for me doing that.

AWESOME!!! A new dorna w/ iowa st theme stuff would be pretty sweet but generic is more than good enough. So glad I can now start that 2nd season! Thanks again Reme and Bob

If someone makes the dorna I'll gladly add it. Need the .iff and .cdf files I think. I've never made one.

Works without crashing which is awesome, but is there a way to get rid of the Arkansas Razorbacks ad? From what I saw there were ads for State Farm, AT&T, NCAA, Bud Light, but then an Arkansas Razorbacks banner.

Hmm. It seems to be pulling from the dorna011.cdf file instead of the dornaiowastate.cdf . To disable it for now just rename the dornaiowastate.iff to dornaiowastate1.iff

Anyone know how to change associations with .iff and .cdf files?

Looks like NCstate is the same problem. may have to make these generic.

I wish I knew more about the dorna files. I remember last year being clueless, and just being told "include all these files or they'll crash". I like the idea of the team specific ones, but for ease, having a dornancaa.iff and dornancaa.cdf that could be assigned for teams who don't have a specific one, or when we have an issue (so that it would just be a simple roster change, even if just temporarily) would be ideal, IMO.

Yeah...reme mentioned to me in a pm that OU was also pulling from dorna011 I believe...bigh0rt love that idea...maybe possible to just alter the 011 Arkansas file and delete the Razorback part of it and maybe just sub something else in cuz the other ads were fine and could probably go w/ most teams...I wonder if I take Bob's Iowa State file and rename it to dorna011 if it would work then? Just don't understand why teams would be redirecting to the Arkansas dorna instead of any other one.

It has to somehow do with how the .iff and .cdf files work with one another. I think I recall reading somewhere that when editing the .iff, you have to make sure it is located in the same folder as the .cdf file, and that the .cdf auto-updates, or something like that? Again, unfortunately these are files that I have no experience with.

ok, here is what I'll do. I'll update the the dorna011 with generic files that way any team that uses it will have generic dorna boards. Easy change.

hi guys, thank you for this cool mod, it really is a nice mod, i am having trouble with the arkansas home and away jerseys not showing up, i tryed replacing the file but there still white? there is a black alternate working though. i tryed to dorno fix by bob to, thx for that bro, i didnt have a iowastate crash when i tryed a season with them.

Make sure you download the 'Updates' download, as well as the most up to date Roster file.

Awesome Big thanks a TON man love that jersey for some reason...can i ask one more big favor and I won't ask for anything else lol...for the next update, could we possibly use a different CF for Dustin Hogue of the Cyclones?...cf being used now is a dude w/ both sleeves of tattoos and he doesn't have any I know of...I'll be on the lookout for any lookalikes that could be used instead
