Will you be working on the Grizzlies/Clippers/Nuggets jersey types as well?
Also There's a minor flaw on V2.

Just some abnormal shading on the shoulders on the with the shoulder part of the jersey slight raised than before, and this it's only on wishbone jerseys, but its nothing biggy.
To answer your first question. I believe you are reffering to the cloth_tri.iff. I will not be able to directly convert those types of jerseys to stiff because those do not have a classic or sleeved model to work fork from. Just think about it.
Stiff Wishbone collars = sleeved wishbone jerseys with sleeves moved out of sight.
Stiff V collars = sleeved v jerseys with sleeves moved out of sight/ and classic v jersey for skinny players
Stiff U collars = edited classic U collar jerseys.
All of the original models were already stiff. I may be able to manipulate the V collar to work like Cloth_tri like I did with the original round collar stiff jerseys, but that sometimes causes distortions.
that shading comes from the ambient occlusion texture in the global. All players have that shadowing on the shoulders and chest to give the illusion that the jersey has cast a shadow. Unfortunately the way I shaped the jersey in blender caused more of the shoulders to be exposed than I would have liked. In your images it appears your shadows on the shoulders appear to be darker than normal which could be caused by global, enb, or sweet fx
