Rajaz, if you have never had one of Ray's mods, comparing a UBR yearly mod to one of Ray's is comparing apples to oranges. With Ray as the 1 creator, he gets everything on point. Skin color clashings are basically never an issue, graphic additions up the wazoo, and more more more. Trust me man, this will be WELL worth the wait. Also, as far as I know Ray has always allowed UBR to use his work so no worries there. I always like to copy my NBA 2K folder to have a whole separate game for Ray's mods cuz they are so specialized graphically and all

I totally agree with you and your opinion. Ray already had proven not once, that he is one of best contributor of the mods and i really looking forward to this one project, this is very nice, because this project will have the best era of nba

Damn it Ray ! Your'e doing it again? Making probably the coolest ( and most accurate) looking mod from the greatest time in basketball ? but this time with not one year /roster but every single one from the decade ? EPIC. I haven't even tried out the UBR on 2k14 yet. Still rocking the Live 95 and NCAA Mod on 2k12

I know it will be perfection. I just do. All I ask is that you make MJ's shoes as accurate as you can for each roster. I've only played 2k13 on xbox and it never saves my custom shoes( I make pairs of classic retros) on the replays or some reason. It only saves the ones not customized( otherwise it will be a generic shoe on the replay).Does it do that in 2k14 ? I love to make replay reels that I will eventually up on youtube and I hope that 2k14 does save the custom shoes on the PC version because I'm somewhat OCD lol.

1. Why the Hell doesnt 2k officially get you and Hawk on their creative design team? ve u/them approached each other....

First of all, I downloaded the College Hoops 95 mod and after playing with it a bit I can see what's the buzz is all about! I'm subscribing to this mod man.
Much like broken wrote, I also vote for the classic NBA on NBC theme for the game intro and think it would be better if the full project will be released when done.
In my opinion the 90's arena sounds will be the best choice for the soundrack, but if that won't be long enough I would use some songs from the NBA Live 1997 soundtrack - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEKuzSjZt9E

I vote for nba on nbc . It would be a better fit for 90's mod. Since they did not really change there presentation at all during the 90's. Tnt on the other hand did every few yrs and even had 3-4 different tv themes in that time. NBA on NBC theme makes everyone think 90's NBA.

But the most important thing to remember that this is Rays mod project so what he wants goes.

As much as I used to love watching TNT(TBS also lol) back in the day for the late season / playoff games during the week ...I gotta agree with NBC...just because of the theme music and the fact that it was the biggest stage for the most important games back then

As far as the music...Do what you feel best represents the "feel" and graphic updates bro . I think a mix of popular "arena" jams and of course the Bulls intro theme as well as the NBA on NBC joint will suffice. I think themes from other games from that time wouldn't fit because this is YOUR mod after all.

I'm about to turn 32 and will always be biased to early to mid 90's east coast Hip Hop Those tunes fit so well with my memories. But every genre of music that was played in arenas back then will for sure do the trick!

its a gr8 idea to release the 1990 and then move on to the 1991,92 etc (haha am being selfish here too.)
The 2k thing i was suggesting like the Elder Scrolls guys did with some of the top developers in Nexus Skyrim Mods where they picked up 10-15 top guys.....easy recruitment, low Budget, Zero training spent for Zenimax/Bethesda......Maybe NLSC shud do something in this line.......
