New test update:

I started an association and changed divisions adding non 30 teams with no problems doing so.

But, when I attempted to sim the season it CTD again right away same as it did for me before. It did not CTD when I tested earlier with all default 30 teams.

Update2:

Started another new assoc with all default 30 teams again. Simmed to end of season with no CTD.

Started a second new assoc and added non 30 teams to the divisions. CTD again when attempting to sim one game or entire season.

Appears to be a non 30 team issue

Update3:

I did more tests the non 30 assoc. The first game of the season happens to be (2) default 30 teams. I was able to sim that game with no CTD.
The next game on the schedule was with a non 30 and a default 30 team. IT CTD when trying to sim that game.

I checked the staff info for the teams since that was something I saw Sko talking about. All default teams have a name listed for the head coach, scout and trainer. The non 30 teams only have names for the head coach, all other slots are listed as vacant.
I don't know if that has anything to do with the CTD with non 30 teams, but I'm trying to give you as much info as I can.

reme, thanks for your continued testing. I think you can add the Euroleague/Classic teams to default 2K, which would be the same as adding the non-original 30 teams, that I believe have matching coach setups.

No need to thank me for testing, I'm not a modder so testing has always been my way of helping with this great mod. The thanks really goes to you and slim and pepis & sko & med and everyone else that adds the modding part to this version and to the prior mod.

anyway, I've continued testing with various non 30 teams in the assoc and every time I get to a game with a non 30 team I CTD trying to sim that game. As long as it is a game with (2) default teams playing, I can sim that game no problem. The issue is simulating a game with a non 30 team involved. It CTD every time.
It seems like there is a setting from team 30 and beyond that is somehow different than the 0 to 29 teams that is causing the CTD when using those teams. We had it working in the prior roster because I ran my own assoc with custom divisions with quite a few non 30 teams, so it definitely will work if we figure out the problem, which I know we will.
It took some time last year, but it was resolved in the end.

One of the issues I remember from testing last years roster with Hawk involving crashes with non 30 teams had to do with the setting for the records tab, and it turned out they all needed to be set to (-1). That resolved the issue last time. That is a something you can check with your program, I don't have that capability or I would. They may all be correct and already set to -1, but if not, that could be the problem again. Just a thought.

I'm aware of the logo issue, but think I may just turn them all to NCAA on CBS logos, since I'm not sure within the logo_large, etc. which one is correct and which is incorrect, etc. As I said in a previous post, if anyone is willing to fix them and knows which is which, I'll gladly provide the .png/.dds files to them.

We used to have a great Memphis Tigers arena based off of the actual arena they share with the Grizzlies, but now it's screwing up and CTD. Anyone else experiencing this with Memphis arena??

Exactly, that is the solution I was referencing from Hawk. We went back and forth one night PM each other with info that I would test and he would tweak based on my results. I still have the final pm from hawk with the solution I will send to you.

Sko, Yes CTD with only one non 30 added to the assoc. It CTD as soon as that team is scheduled to play their game when trying to sim the game.

I just tried a game with Memphis and it worked no problem. If it is CTD as soon as you go to the arena, that usually was a dorna issue. I did not install the new update dornas, I am using last years that I knew worked fine to avoid arena issues.

I forgot about this post. This is weird because i dont see all star game, even when simulate whole season, there is no info about all star game. Maybe its even better because your All-American teams(original stars/elites) ids are in conflict with game.

There is something messed up with Oklahoma somewhere it will not pull anything up in the team selection screen. I even loaded the default logos and oklahoma is still blank while all other teams had the NBA logos behind them. Wonder if it come from the roster file somewhere?

The large is 512, the medium (team selection screen) is 256, small is 128 and tiny is 64. I figure they are arranged this way for a reason but not positive. So far I have not seen any issues when just replacing the medium.

If you choose to only simulate the game, it will give you the result as it would with a normal game and advance to the next day.

I remember this being an issue in last years roster also, that you could only simulate the all star game or it would CTD.

This is not the big problem right? This is NCAA so we dont need east/west game, but to be honest, maybe its not the worst idea to remove all star game from schedule.
Game will ctd if you will try to play east/west game because of many reasons.
