when you shot, did the ball actually go to the new rim position, or the old one? that is cool you did it without model editing.

During the shots/dunks ball goes to normall position.
After the dunk is made players jumps further to the abyss to grab the rim (actually he is looking for the top of the net, not for the rim - I separated rim from the net earlier and Lebron hangs on the net, not on the rim)

OK.
It has to be made in stadium files s001.iff, s002.iff etc.

Offset varies depending on stadium file.
Picture here with offsets belong to s029.iff (Warriors) and it was made by Sixers85 I believe.
You may check if your s029.iff looks like mine (Sixers85).

We are moding Away basket (right side of the floor). As you can see in the pic, away basket starts right after HOME NET PIVOT area is neded.
You may search for text string "net" and the second result will lead you always to Away basket where you\ll find something similar like in the pic in every stadium file

Re. editing.
I have marked importand areas with red. There are 12 options. Make 1 change soemwhere and check what happens in the game. So you will find out whicjh offsets are responsible for the rim, net, board, etc.

What to change:
In case you are not familiar with that, it will be safe to make minor changes as here...
that one on the top left has 3e 41, you may lower or raise something maneuvring with right sided figure, change to 40, 42, 43, 44, i.e change to 3e 42, 3e 43 and similar
