@Homicide How can I have that shoe detail like yours when playing away shoes? Mine is too shiny and you can't clearly see the details of the shoe coz it looks like plastic and completely all black. Like a plain shoe with no detail on them when playing on court. thanks

I also have that problem. I think the shine is because of the lighting (not sure if its global related or in the .exe). In 2K12, I can just edit the alpha layer and totally control the shine of the textures but something changed in 2K13. Even without putting shine on the texture, It still looks glossy in-game especially dark colored ones.

Try replacing the black hex color in reditor to a lighter shade which would somehow reduce the shine. I personally use 1A1A1A instead of the usual 000000.

Guide:

This will replace the "Nike Zoom Kobe II" or you can rename the
.iff file to select which shoes you want to replace.

Put the files in your main nba 2k13 folder. (make sure you backup your files)


Change colors using RED Modding Center or Leftos' Roster Editor;
(you won't be able to edit the colors in-game, make sure use custom colors is enabled)

I have some Air Pippen II from 2k12 (Not Mine) can someone fix the colors? They're black and green when they should be black & white. I tried changing the html colors in reditor but it's not working and yes I did put a '1' under GShsUCusC(use custom colors).

You probably replaced a texture only shoe (the ones that you can't color). Replace shoes that are in RGB, shoes that only have 3 layers not the new texture by 2K that has muliple ones.

Haven't tried it bro. But I doubt it will work flawlessly since the default KD V's have multiple layers and not the usual RGB texture. Tell me what happens if ever you try it.

It is editable. The toecap design, outsole and the stripes are controlled by GShsHCol3.
