How do you hide players on a roster with RED MC? For example I want to hide J.Brown/D.Miller/R.Johnson on the 01-02 kings, so it will be a 9 man roster, how would I go about doing that?

on the 02 Kings roster, remove those player's IDs from the team's rotation and make sure there are no -1 IDs with real IDs after them
update that team's playernum total in front of the rotation

and that is it. as long as you dont change isFA information on the players tab, those players will not be on that team or selectable in free agency.

Jao, please can u remind me how to make more free slots for new ceated players, i mean for example isRegPlayer=1 IsSpecial=0 SlotType=0 IsGener=0 how this four tabs should be set to free more space?

I dont know how the game triggers or finds the create a player slots. Your best bet is to copy the created players over one of the hidden players lower in the roster file, update team rotations as needed, and then copy the information from a default roster over their previous row.

but hey Jao, i just want to remove some player which i will not using anymore, and use his slot for new created player. i dont want to add new cell...its immposible right? I just want to make bigger area for created players by removing others useless players. So simple, how to overwrite.

Vlad, what happened to the current version of REDitor MC? The .exe file disappeared from my computer and there's no way to download the installation kit form the link on the 1st page of this thread. Is the new version on its way and that's why the previous one is halted?

if you have AVAST it falsely identifies it as a virus and deletes it into AVAST's virus vault. I had to add the folders I keep the exe in to the global exceptions list so it stops scanning the exe.

I managed to add the folder with REDitor MC to the list of "exclusions" in AVAST. Go to the followinf tabs: Antivirus - File System Shield - Settings - Exclusions and add the folder of your choice. Got it?

to recover the exe AVAST deleted, goto the Maintenance tab, virus vault, right click, and restore.

I'm very sorry, but the release will happen only tomorrow. The installer is already built and lays here "in front" of me, but this was a difficult day, so i'm too tired for the moment (it's 0:20 am here) to make all the necessary on-line documentation (presentation).
Will do this tomorrow as soon as i get up and have a meal.

Hey Vlad, with your new update the MyFreind panel is not working. In the drop down it displays "the MyFreind panel is not available for this file type" or "This Grid is not editable". I am using the same PC roster I've been using. Also, I am having issues opening multiple tabs.

You don't need to buy again. It is a separate option, all the previously purchased functionality should continue to work fine.

Hey Vlad, with your new update the MyFreind panel is not working. In the drop down it displays "the MyFreind panel is not available for this file type" or "This Grid is not editable". I am using the same PC roster I've been using. Also, I am having issues opening multiple tabs.

Please, write me to REDitor@ya.ru. I need to know your registration name and Computer ID (the latter can be found on Help -> Register... dialog box).

There's a serious problem because I didn't use the search feature and found the GID I wanted to edit, saved it, but when I went back in, all of my team colors were completely messed up from top to bottom. Luckily I just started on this roster some days ago. Have to start from scratch when this is fixed.

Yeah, whenever I save a roster, my team colors are all black now on both the jerseys tab and the players tab. This is not good

A new hot-fix is up. I'm sorry for the problem: wasn't attentive enough, when fixing PS3 colors.

Vlad, your two new updated wiped out my registry and now old keys don't work and new keys definitely don't work what going on?

To add on to my post from a couple hours ago, is it at least possible to retrieve the files for these roster images (headshots)?

Reguardless, I'm just now seeing that on PC there is a folder for the .iff file for each face, I was wondering can an .iff file be opened by your average image editor or displayed by a browser, and if so if someone could at least temporarily host these files online so that I could save them since I'm using ps3?

I made this website, http://www.dylan9o4.host-ed.me/hotzonesbeta.php so that you can see most all of players hot zones, hotspots, attributes, etc. After you pick a team, you will see a map of courts with the hot zones shown. If you hover any of these courts, your can click the panel that shows up and view the additional data from there. If you go to the old school teams, you may notice there are no headshots. This is because my images are outsourced from espn, and they do not host nor maintain images for previous players, yet 2k has many. It would be greatly appreciated if I were to have access to these files to see if I can use them as an improved method of showing the players faces. Thank you for your time...

You can open the portrait.iff files with a tool called modtool and with that you can save the pictures as png files.

Team GShsHCol1-3 and GShsACol1-3 are still not working correctly. It's changing the colors upon pasting into a new roster. You cannot copy more than one players colors at a time without this bug happening.

Example -- Tim Duncan

Before: FFFFFF 000000 000000 000000 FFFFFF FFFFFF
After save: FFFFFF 000177 000178 000179 FFFFFF FFFFFF

It appears the problem is with the black colors. It will change 000000 to 000176, 000177, 000178, 000179.

How come I am not able to open more than one roster file in the tabs? Was there a license I was supposed to buy for that? Because if so I'm not seeing it. I bought almost every license except a few.

Not meaning to post over, but I found a source for the PC 2k13 folder. So where are the images that show what appears when you lookup players in the roster? Because I would like the images to be in that same priority (REAL player images if possible, and if not display their cyberface).
