Official Roster & Online Data Update

New rosters have been released, but once again it seems the PC version didn't receive them.

that sucks i hope 2k isn't stopping the updates for PC completely because i only use their rosters

Can someone contact ronny or any other 2k insider and ask him why we didn't get the latest two updates? This is becoming more than frustrating!

guys, why the complaints? we have custom rosters with every player, many retro teams, so many cyberfaces and so on. we have our modding community (thank god we have it), do we really need those silly and incomplete 2k updates?

Tweeted them a little while ago, Steve from OS also made inquiries. Hopefully one of them can provide an answer.

Part of it is the principle of the thing. The PC version is capable of receiving the updates, has received them in the past and should still be receiving them along with the consoles.

You're certainly correct about the community making quality roster updates, but it would be handy to have the new official updates to base future custom rosters upon. I believe if nothing else, they add entries for additional jerseys to the rosters; even if the PC updates are lacking the textures, the community can make use of those entries to make the necessary jersey updates without having to replace any existing jerseys.

I agree with the principle of it, it seems like there is no hope to get a different approach to this platform other than the low-budget/low-features one.

There are a lot of very good custom rosters around here but I'm sure people bought the game for the online side of it, and you can't take custom rosters to online modes.

and i totally agree on official 2k stuff. i prefer official rosters and online data than custom/user made ones.

Honestly most of the time users rosters are more accurate than 2K ones....agree 2k should love more they PC customers

Yes agree, I like ONLY one thing in this game when it's official - and this is the roster. Everything else, love when is custom.

I also sended a massage via twitter and no response from 2k ... normal situation.

offical 2k rosters suck. seriously, vince carter 80 overall, monroe 79 overall, WTF?!
also the worst player in the nba right now, corey higgins, has a 66 overall when he should have around 45...

yeah , this crappy incomplete rosters sucks, i agree with this. But when it's custom, always somebody who create this, is a fan of some players, and he can overrated or underrated some guys, depends who likes or not That's why I accept this crappy official uploads. Yeah this is the main reason why I want the 2k rosters as well....I would just add equipment and hopefully the cyber faces using 2k as base...

As preacher said as long as we have Albys' RR and the UBR (can't recall the creator's name) I don't care about the silly official updates...

The only point on the updates is to play online, nobody is saying that the official rosters are better than some of the custom.

LD2k also responded to our inquiry, same answer. Fingers crossed that doesn't change and we do get the next update along with the consoles, though as far as the official patch with all the fixes is concerned, February or March is probably a realistic guess.
